Our Story

Ravel & Rise began with a personal journey. In 2024, we moved from Thailand to Norway, guided by professional opportunities and supported by a formal corporate relocation process. On paper, the transition had every advantage: planning, resources, structure, and a clear reason to move. In reality, even with that support, the experience was more complex than we expected.

Arriving in a new country meant learning new customs, adjusting to unfamiliar rhythms, and understanding a way of life that was at once inspiring, efficient, beautiful, and occasionally bewildering. Some parts felt immediately welcoming; others took time to understand. Gradually, we adapted. We found comfort in Norway’s landscapes, its pace, its values, and its quiet sense of order. We came to love being here.

What We Noticed

As we settled in, we became more aware of others making similar moves under very different circumstances. Not everyone arrives with professional security, relocation support, or shared language. Some people come from places marked by instability, isolation, or persecution. Some move from remote parts of the world into systems and cultures that feel entirely unfamiliar. For many, the first challenge is not simply finding a home, but finding a voice, a routine, a sense of belonging, and a path forward.
